Prepare Content Before Facebook Business Page Setup

Before creating a Facebook business page it is a good idea to know what content you will need. Think ahead about which photos, text, slides, or video will represent your company well. Responding to prompts and fill-ins at the time of creation may not get you the best results.  Prepare and prosper.

A Facebook business page invites you to show the human side or at least the human interest side of your business. Chances are many of the people who work at and buy from your business are already using Facebook.  Below is a description of the content Facebook requests for setting up your business page.

Add an Image. Upload your company logo using a file format that flatters your  design. For example:

GIF = Large areas of flat color
JPG = Lots of variation in color, e.g., photo
PNG = Levels of transparency
EPS = Images, drawings

The ideapaint Facebook business page includes a logo, tag line and website URL.
